You can correct an entry as long as its period isn’t locked. ark.flow Compta also flags entries that look unusual.
Edit an entry
- Open Entries and click the entry.
- Change the date, description, accounts, amount or department.
- Click Save.
To find an entry, use the search or the filters: Drafts, Auto-validated, Manual, Anomalies, No attachment.
Deal with anomalies
The Anomalies filter shows flagged entries along with the reason: Duplicate, Unusual amount, Wrong account, Missing counterpart and others. Each flag is a hypothesis:
- if it is justified, correct or delete the entry;
- if it isn’t, click Dismiss this anomaly.
Delete an entry
Open the entry, click Delete, then confirm. Only delete an entry that shouldn’t be there, such as a duplicate: an entry from a statement stands for a real bank transaction.
To correct several entries at once, use the selection bar described in Approve the AI’s proposals. If the selection includes an entry from a closed period, ark.flow refuses the whole action, changes nothing and shows for example: “2 selected entries are in a closed period (…) and can no longer be changed. Nothing was changed.” A button then offers to update only the entries that can still be changed.
