Bank imports

Import a Migros, Viseca or Twint PDF statement

Drop your Banque Migros, Viseca card or Twint PDF statement: AI reads it, then you check the balance and the entries.

ark.flow Compta reads PDF statements from three sources: Banque Migros, Viseca cards and Twint. Unlike XML and CSV files, which are read as they are, PDFs are read by AI. If your bank also offers an XML or CSV export, use that instead.

Source PDF Other accepted formats
Banque Migros Account statement CSV, camt.053 (XML)
Viseca Card statement CSV
Twint Monthly statement CSV from the merchant portal (transaction report or settlement)

PDF statements from other banks are not read: use their camt.053 or CSV export.

Before you start

  • In Chart of accounts, set the account’s Bank import source to Banque Migros, Viseca Card or Twint. The account’s button then appears on the Import screen.
  • The PDF must be no larger than 25 MB.

Import the statement

  1. Open Import and click the account.
  2. Drop one or more statements.
  3. Wait for the analysis to finish: reading a PDF can take 30 to 60 seconds.
  4. Click Continue with followed by the number of ready statements.

If you drop a PDF without choosing the account first, the screen asks you to select Banque Migros, Viseca or Twint.

Check and approve

From here, it works like a camt.053 statement: a balance check, then proposed entries sorted into Issues, To review, Ready and Already in accounting. The details are in Import a camt.053 statement.

Common problems

“To import a PDF, first select Migros bank, Viseca or Twint”: click the account on the Import screen instead of dropping the file onto the page.

The analysis fails: try again with the Retry button. If the error persists, import the CSV or XML export from the same source.

A transaction is missing or has the wrong amount: fix it in the review before importing, or add it afterwards in Entries.
